Cherry blossoms are the national flower of Japan. So when spring comes around every year, the country flocks to Kyoto where the cherry blossoms line the streets and the hillsides. The view of light pink petals is magical and as you walk along the cherry trees, the petals fall on you like snowflakes. This card is one of a series honoring the cherry blossoms of the spring. The silver flowers among the shades of pink mimics the fluttering feeling of the blossoms. "Sakura," cherry blossom, is written on the front of the card and that says it all.
